About the Role
Location: Mobile, AL & Gulf Coast Region
Job Type: Per Diem / Flexible Schedule
Pay Range: Starting at $13/hour (adjusted for shift type and urgency)
Innovative Healthcare Solutions is looking for compassionate and dependable individuals to join our team as Per Diem Patient Care Technicians (PCTs). Licensing Requirements:
• No certification required at the time of hire.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred and may be required based on facility placement.
• Opportunities available for employees to pursue certification (CNA, PCT, etc.) with company support.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Allowing for some variation in duties from one work setting to another, the following are typical responsibilities of PCTs:
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
Provide basic observation of client conditions and report any changes to the care team.
Support clients with mobility, transfers, and general comfort.
Help maintain clean, safe, and supportive care environments.
Offer companionship and emotional support as a key part of daily care.
Comply with infection control, confidentiality, and facility-specific guidelines.
Common Work Settings:
Group homes as Direct Care Staff
Home health agencies as Home Health Aides or Sitters
Clinics and private doctor’s offices
Rehabilitation centers and outpatient facilities
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
No prior certification needed—training and onboarding provided.
6 months of caregiving or customer service experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Dependable, compassionate, and eager to learn.
Must pass background and health screenings in accordance with facility requirements.
