About the Role:
As a General Laborer with Moving Forward Staffing Company, you will assist with a wide variety of tasks on construction sites, agricultural operations, environmental projects, warehouses, or distribution centers. This position is ideal for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and eager to gain experience across multiple trades.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with loading and unloading materials
• Perform general clean-up of job sites and debris removal
• Operate small tools and equipment as needed
• Support skilled tradespeople on various tasks
• Dig trenches, mix concrete, move heavy objects
• Assist with planting, harvesting, irrigation, or erosion control (agriculture/environmental)
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members
Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Prior experience in construction, farming, landscaping, or industrial labor preferred but not required
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
• OSHA 10 certification preferred (can be required for some jobs)
• Must provide or be willing to obtain proper PPE (boots, gloves, hard hat, safety vest, etc.)
• Reliable transportation to job sites
