About the Role:

As a CPR Instructor with Moving Forward Staffing Company, you’ll be responsible for teaching high-quality CPR, BLS, and/or ACLS courses to healthcare professionals, caregivers, and community members. You'll work as an independent contractor, delivering both scheduled and on-demand classes aligned with American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross standards.
This flexible role is perfect for credentialed instructors who are passionate about teaching life-saving skills in a supportive, professional setting.

What It Means to Be a 1099 Contractor:

As a 1099 CPR Instructor, you are considered self-employed. This means:
• You are responsible for your own taxes and liability insurance
• You set your own availability and accept courses as your schedule allows
• You are paid based on the number of hours and sessions delivered

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate CPR, BLS, and/or ACLS training sessions according to AHA or Red Cross guidelines

• Set up and break down classroom equipment and manikins

• Ensure all participants receive proper instruction and hands-on practice

• Evaluate student performance and issue certifications upon successful completion

• Maintain up-to-date certification records and supply inventory

• Travel to client locations or conduct sessions at our designated facility

• Represent Innovative Workforce Solutions with professionalism and care


Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Current certification as a CPR/BLS or ACLS Instructor through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (required)

• Experience teaching CPR or similar life support courses strongly preferred

• Strong communication and teaching skills

• Reliable transportation to training locations

• Must pass a background check and drug screen

• Must provide your own instructional supplies or use center-provided equipment (if available)

• Flexible availability for weekday and weekend classes
