About the Role
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a critical growth driver within the MFSC Ecosystem. You will be responsible for generating new client relationships, securing workforce service contracts, and building strategic partnerships that expand MFSC's reach across the region.
This is more than a sales role. As a BDR, you are an ecosystem builder connecting businesses to workforce solutions, introducing community partners to MFSC's network, and identifying opportunities that create value for every participant in the ecosystem.
**Growth Opportunity: High performing BDRs can advance into leadership roles recruiting, mentoring, and building their own teams of Business Development Representatives while earning override compensation based on team production, in accordance with MFSC compensation policies.
Requirements
You do not need to come from a staffing background. You do need to be a relationship builder with a drive to grow.
Proven ability to build relationships and genrate new business oppotunities
Strong communitcation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
Familiarity with the local business community, industries, and workforce landscape (or willingness to learn)
Comfortable with commission-based compensation structures
Reliable internet access and proficiency with basic digital communication tools
A genuine interest in workforce development and community enocnomic growth
Perferred Qualifications
Experience in sales, business development, staffing, recruiting, or account management
Existing relationships with local businesses, HR professionals, or economic development organizations
Experience mentoring or leading others in a professional setting
Familiarity with workforce development, staffing, or human resouces
